its an auto wall break. those buffed defense don't mean shit unless they resist the attack type. really we need more of these. sadly the crit nerf has lowered the overall effectiveness, but it can still be useful.

They upped the base damage on 100% crit moves to compensate for crit adjustments.

It's the chance-to-crit moves that have arguably been screwed over. They're overall better at +2 now but if you don't have Super Luck or whatever they're objectively weaker now.

Super Luck is still +1. So is Focus Energy. What I meant was that high-crit moves like Slash give +1, but in all gens +1 only gives you 12.5% crit rate. That means in Gen VI if you don't have another +1 from Super Luck or Focus Energy, moves like Slash are objectively weaker than they were before Gen VI.
