It's not really that uncommon in anime shows where a character hurts themselves a bit but they can continue well, until they make some movement that causes a lot of pain.
It's probably going to be something similar here, where her performance against Elle goes well initially until she does something that causes strain on her hurt wrist again and she'll momentarily stumble in movement because of it or something like that.
