that shade of purple is just ugly

similar story for electrike and manectric
beside probably having some sort of relation with the quick ball color scheme the only reason with the blue color could be one of the plasma blue shades but the dex says those pokemon appear during thunderstorm

Politoed and Bellossom both have better shiny colors, due to the fact that they both match up better with their evolutionary lines.

I loved mine from the event so much, I used it right through X/Y. Nobody expects Aura Sphere!

I wish Game Freak did more Events that gave Pokémon new moves. Mixed things up.

Most frog lines begin with a fully formed frog (Froakie, Croagunk), so they'd be excluded. Tympole is primarily tan, which isn't a color shared by its fully evolved form.

The different color in Politoed's case is to really emphasize the different direction the line then takes, as Poliwhirl and Poliwrath are still tadpoles.
