Replaying RBY on virtual console made me miss how good Persian was. It has a low total stat allocation compared to some of the newer pokemon. In fact, there are 2nd stage pokemon with higher stats. If given the chance I would put stats into both speed and attack. But given the option to dump +20 int one, I'll go with attack.

Persian has a diverse movepool. If it could work as a fast physical sweeper I think Play Rough, Knock Off, Hyper Voice, and any other physical move could make decent.

I dunno, maybe it is just a lost cause.

But I feel like they'll go another way and make it a mixed attacker like Mega Absol if it ever does get a Mega.

Every Gourgeist forme gets +20 HP meaning XL will end up with 105 base HP. It's pretty sad that all four formes get higher HP stats as they get bigger but the biggest one only has 85 base HP. This would help it generally tank special hits a little bit better than it does right now. It's also something a Mega couldn't fix because they don't fiddle with the HP stat.

M-Gardevoir would be incredibly broken if it was any faster than 100. That Hyper Voice is one of the strongest unboosted attacks in OU.

Porygon-Z gets +20 Spe. Choice Scarf Adaptability Tri Attack now rules OU, walled only by Ghost-types, and then only long enough to switch into Assault Vest Weaville and Knock Off.
