I was just at the only Toys R Us in my area that has any left. They wouldn't /can't sell them till the Jirachi event. Jirachi now has a street date of April 2nd. The stores got bitched out for selling them early so now there's official street dates and limits.

Scalpers. It's the 20th anniversary limited plush and people are selling Mew and Celebi for literally 80 bucks or so a pop. They're not even worth it, they aren't good plush.

This is amazing since the only other dragonair plush is going for about $60 on ebay. This rerelease will bring prices down for sure- glad I didn't drop $60 on the other one.

I remember when I did something similar with Mario Kart 8.
Target was having this offer that when you bought MK8, you got the steering wheel for free. I bought 3 copies (2 for my cousins, and one for me) so I ended up getting 3 steering wheels. Now, these pieces of plastic shit where selling for 11.99 at Target at that time, so I thought about returning them, and I did.
Basically, I got 35 dollars for doing nothing.
It was pretty cool. Then I used that money to buy an e-shop card, which I used to buy Tomodachi Life.

When I was at that store, they told me this email was sent to all stores. If the stores still had any left after putting them out too early, Jirachi should now have the April 2nd street date so the registers won't let them be purchased. Call around April 1st and if you find one with them, ask for a 24 hour hold. If they say they can't, ask for a manager. They can and do hold toys for 24 hours except at Christmas.
