What do you think of Pokemon Tabletop United, /vp/?
/vp/ I'm asking a fucking question
>bumping after 10 minutes
Ahahahahaha

I don't know, don't have anyone to play it with

It seems terribly overbloated. Taking the mechanics of a game as complex as Pokémon and trying to replicate them for a ttrpg doesn't seem like the right idea. Also every player potentially having 7 character sheets sounds like a nightmare to keep track of.

This.
It's why when I run Pokemon games I run Mystery Dungeon.

I ran a game last year, and started running a new campaign last week. Lots of fun and easy to get the hang of.

Automatically-filling-in spreadsheets make it a breeze to keep track of your character and mons.

heard of it once, and was invited over skype. I've only played a tabletop online once and it was terrible.
>>25060068
It's gay. Should just make a more traditional tabletop featuring Pokemon rather than try to recreate a videogame but with dice and shit.

The hell is Pokemon Tabletop United, OP?

I like the system but I've never played a full-length campaign due to issues outside the game. First two campaigns fell apart after half the players lost interest, then we had a hiatus of tabletop entirely for a long time because that half just didn't want to play anything, and a couple months ago we started doing another game—a smaller game with just the GM, me, and the other player who's still into tabletop and is reliable enough to make it to more than 25% of the games—and it's not on hiatus but it's been a bitch finding games just because different people keep having different RL issues come up. The current issue is our GM's computer exploding whenver it's turned on for more than 20 minutes. I'm not going to let this game die out though, it's been too hard to get a game started in the first place so I just have to be patient and wait for everyone to be issue-free.
I can't wait until my Noibat evolves and getscumulative +9 evasion.
