This client is fucking awful. It's like every game the RNG chooses a winner. Dead draw in a deck full of draw support, then the next game my poor opponent literally mulligan'd 9 times.

Alright this game does not want me to play Maxie/Archie, I can never draw what I need no matter how specialized I make my deck. Wasn't like this a month ago, I could turn one Maxie about 50% of the time and almost always by turn 2, now I consistently draw my stage 2s or both Maxies/Archies and never see Balls or VS Seekers to manage my hand. Good thing Yveltal is fine on its own.

In terms of usable cards, Breakthrough had Zoroark, Gallade, Octillery, Mewtwos, Magnezone, Raikou, Typhlosion, Houndoom, Skyla, Float Stone, Assault Vest, Fisherman, Heavy Ball, Super Rod, Giovanni, Parallel City, and Rainbow Energy off the top of my head.

Breakpoint has Greninja, Gyarados, Manaphy, Golduck, Garbodor, Garchomp, Trevenant, Scizor, Max Elixer, Fighting Fury Belt, Delinquent, and Reverse Valley.

I think they're about the same. I personally feel Breakthrough had a bigger meta impact off Zoroark, Gallade, Octillery, and Mewtwo alone, whereas only Garbodor and maybe Scizor look viable, not counting the Belt.

The point is that the new subset and Breakpoint have cards that are either literal reprints or just slightly different. Yveltal, M Gardevoir, Flareon EX, Manaphy, Greninja, Mind Reading, Fighting Fury Belt, Golduck, Raticate, the list goes on. There's virtually no innovation. Now that Charizard, Venusaur, and Blastoise are all but confirmed to be getting spirit links, which of the megas do you see people using? I have no idea about which Charizard we'll see more of. The new Charizard mega is obviosuly great attacking but the other two still one shot everything though at great expense. Energy acceleration wont be that much of a problem with the new Basic Charizard EX, and Basic EX Hounddoom helping in a capacity.

Blasoise new Mega and basic EX from Generations hasn't been revealed yet but the XY Mega was tremendously powerful and now will be actually useful with a spirit link to get it out faster.

People seriously need to stop being afraid of the Stage 2 meme. Stage 2 decks don't auto-lose to big basics, they only had a problem past format because Toad, the deck with FOUR TIMES THE WINRATE of the next best deck locked you out of Candies and Balls, which are critical for evolution decks.

The game's a shitload faster than pre-RS thanks to Shaymin showing up and Toad dying.

irish here. I have bought from ChaosCards before single & boosters and no scaling happening as best I can tell. They seem to be a big enough operation that it's not like a one-man show selling through ebay weighing your packs. Delivery was quick and prices were fine.
