We already have Sand-Attack and Thousand Arrows which are able to hit Flying-type Pokemon, so I don't see why GF doesn't do the same for:

Flying-type should only be immune to land-based Ground-type moves.

Things like Bone moves and Mud Slap really should just be not very effective against Flying. Make them special cases
