How do I unlock Cleffa in this game? Every source I checked on

And no, "git gud" isn't the answer I'm looking for. I'll worry about that when I go back to unlocking Sentret and Bellossom.

Think you just have to 100% puzzle mode.

Just note that I tried all the following:
>Clear every round in Puzzle Mode
>Break 100000 total score in Marathon Mode
>Get the top score in Time Zone Mode on Easy, Normal, and Hard
And still nothing.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure you get Cleffa from getting max score on Garbage Mode. Have you tried that, OP?

As for that, I could never make it to 30000, let alone max score.

If you get Magby from Garbage Mode then I probably got Cleffa from Challenge Mode somewhere.
By the way, I find Garbage Mode easier if you start on Hard with a level of 99.

Update I tried clearing Challenge Mode on Super Hard. That didn't work either.

You definitely score points more quickly on Hard/99 than on Easy/1, that's for certain.

Update: I'm making attempt to get max score in Garbage Mode on Hard/99. Right now I'm at 63581, and I'm not sure whether the max score is five digits or six.

Update: I just got Cleffa, and it only took me until I got a high score of 67671 in Garbage Mode. But now it begs the question, how does one unlock Magby?

i think the eggs open based on play time or accumulated score. so just keep playing and they should open.
