Typlosion is the least seen fully evolved starter in the series. It never appeared in the Johto saga, only the Raikou special, and didn't appear in a proper episode until Flannery's Gym in Hoenn where her Grandfather used it against Team Rocket.

I believe that was a 4kids localisation. In the Jap episode, Jounouchi implies that the Big Five were the ones who went ahead and added her to the game.
