Hey man, how do you edit the exefs? I just extracted it with ctrtool and tried playing around here and pk3ds will ignore it for shit. It's exactly how it's shown in their screenshots, the "exe" and "romfs" folder, but pk3ds won't let me edit exefs stuff, only romfs.

Dragging the exefs file onto pk3ds will decompress it. You can edit it from there and then use a hex editor to save it as a .code file.

Drayano did Sacred Gold/Storm Silver, Blaze Black/Volt White, and Blaze Black/Volt White 2. He's pretty thorough in his romhacks, and while he does make changes to the complete version they're on the more reasonable side. No classic version yet for RiRSiS though, but you could always just not pack the edited level up and type files.

Mainly, I didn't really like being forced to use the Exp Share in RuRStS, and prefer Drayano's changes.

The benefit the other Anon had, was the fact he has an OoT cart, which would allow him to inject the hacked save into that if he had a second exploitable console.

I dont know much about injecting but I think you can also inject items, right? Does everyone in these threads have a Shiny Charm? If so, can some good hearted anon please get one for me?

I'm unable to inject for one, since I've updated my system before I've heard of this method and cant really do any of those things the thread specifies.

PSA: If anyone is interested, I re-downloaded the ORAS demo, and HANS does allow for the Steelix to be caught and transferred to ORAS. You'll have to edit the country and 3DS-region data of the .pk6 to Japan after you transfer it for legitimacy, but it works regardless.

I also was able to play the demo in English and get the Steelix with the region set to Japan. Didn't try transferring that one, but I'm sure it'll work, but you'd probably have to change the language of the .pk6 to Japanese to make it legit.

FYI, you can't transfer the Steelix if you already received the Glalie on that save file, but backing up with svdt and making a temporary new save solves that.

Unfortunately the demo doesn't work with PKHeX, so there's nothing else to really fuck around with besides getting the Steelix

Which is better Star or Sinking Sapphire?

Sinking just came out so it's tough to compare, but the main difference seems to be that Star is balance around required use of Exp. Share while Sinking isn't.

Sinking also has rematch teams in the Battle Resort.
