Lots of people will switch into a rock or steel type expecting fake out. Also if they have a landorus-T on their team, you can just ice punch because they think the intimidate will cripple it. (same goes for garchomp with rocky helmet.)

if going by raw attack stat, mawile's a little higher, though medicham gets stronger attacks so it gets better damage.
if you're talking about damage, it's pretty high up, probably the most powerful of the "spammable" attacks with HJK, which is barely outdamaged by M-Pinsir's Giga Impact, M-Glalie's Explosion, Mega Garde's Hyper Beam and Yzard's Overheat. if you take into account Focus Punch, then it's only outdamaged by Charizard's Blast Burn. I'm probably missing attacks, but those are the most powerful attacks I could think off (and I thought of M-Salamence/Kanga Giga Impact and M-Ray LO Dragon Ascent)

Used Arceus for all calcs, but changed the type to make it neutral effectiveness, so ignore that it says Arceus-Fighting. and for some reason theres no blast burn in the damage calc, so I just changed fire blast to 150BP.
