Rewatching some of the first few episodes, why are they some of the best XY has to offer?

Prism Tower and Garchomp, the meeting between Ash and each member of the gang, Ashs PTSD from BW making him lose his edge.

These episodes are great.

On that note, when will we see Ash get into a state similar to how he was after his loss to Viola. He's been on an absolute tear for nearly a year now, will Alan finally crush and knock Ash down a peg?

Why are we even arguing this? The status quo really hasn't changed since XY005. Just look at the relationship charts we got back then. Those still hold true to this day.
