Well, Gardevoir is only 5' 3 (according to the Pokedex), so she isn't as tall as you might think. When you really look at the heart of things, Gardevoir is basically just a loving and caring Pokemon that wants nothing but for her trainer to be happy, comfortable, and safe. I figure the loving aspect could turn into something lewd pretty easily, but for the most part Gardevoir seems like the kind of girl who'd be elegant and playfully childish at the same time.

I get what you're saying; Pokemon are a lot like people in that they vary a lot in shape/personality despite being of the same species. I think the Pokedex is more of a generalization of a species than a dictionary definition for each one, so it would make sense for Gardevoirs to be taller/shorter than 5' 3 and have all kinds of personalities. I think being thin/curvy/soft is kind of a given for them though.
