Druddigon actually comes from the word drudgery. After a long 12 hour day of overtime and drudge work, GF really ran out of design ideas. Their brains were practically searing in their skulls like eggs in a frying pan. They were totally lost. But they had one last spot to fill in the Pokédex for the new games. Then they used a piece of paper and crumpled it. It turned out to look like a dragon, Druddigon to be exact. They took the "design" and asked NoA to give it a name. Drudgery + Dragon = Druddigon. Perfect. The awful redhead dragon was born.

How come for soon-to-be seven generations we've never gotten a blonde male protagonist? They all have brown, black, and even blue, but no blonde? And no, the customization options for Calem and Sun do not count because they're not the default designs.

So in case you didn't know, Magearna is confirmed to have the ability Soul Heart and the signature move Fleur Cannon, (both of which are the Japanese names and may be translated slightly differently.) Based on the move animation, it seems to open up its hands and fire a pink beam at the opponent, probably making it a fairy-type move. However, this move is quite noteable for another reason that I have seen very little discussion about. The word fleur is French (!) for flower, which makes sense as Magearna's hand cannons form a flower shape when opened. So basically, a flower shaped cannon that fires a destructive beam of energy. Where have I heard this before?

OH WAIT

Yes, Magearna's signature move seems eerily similar in a lot of ways to the Ultimate Weapon of Pokemon X and Y, which by proxy makes it similar to the signature move of AZ's Floette, Light of Ruin. Was Magearna created in part to replicate the power of the ultimate weapon, or is this merely a coincidence? Between this and the confirmation of the Zygarde formes, it seems that Sun and Moon are in some ways going to be continuing off the loose plot threads of X and Y, which is awesome in my book. Now why on earth would they announce Perfect Zygarde so early? You'd think they wouldn't have revealed him at all and he would be come as a surprise later in the the post-game. And since we're getting PZ at some point in Sun and Moon, does that mean we're going to Kalos? Will we be going to Kalos during the man story or post-game?

hi and welcome to showderp ! what is showderp you ask ? well its where a champ dupes a bunch of ppl into giving him 6 pokemon to use for his test team on the battle simulator, pokemon showdown. when a champ is tired of his tricky suggestions, he can ask for a new team (as a joke) or call for a new champ (but only ironically). you need an unironic tripcode to champ, and tier is up to the champ who says it when he gets his team. ou is default otherwise.
