Sun/Moon announcement got to me and now I regret not playing a Gen6 game. /vp/, which is better, XY or ORAS? Just give me some solid reasons to waste my money on one of the games until November comes along and I have to spend more.

Suggest a pokemon game for me.
I finished Pokemon Yellow (as in I beat the elite four), and I've played LeafGreen and FireRed (didn't complete this)
I want to play something never, but I tried emulating SoulSilver, but it lagged heavily. I'm up for some challenges too, but I only know Nuzlocke mode and it sounds like just grinding (grinding attack low level pokemons, so my pokemons level up and heal)

try using frame skip 9 in the options if you use DesMUME. it works okay like that. I know because I played HeartGold like that and I almost finished the game.
Emerald is pretty good but not as good as HG/SS.

story is pretty awful particularly the last part but again who cares, its pokemon
if you liked the original ruby sapphire then get the remakes, it has most of the stuff xy had anyway + new megas if you like playing online and a couple neat new features
and the new breeding area goes in a perfect loop and the iv checker is right there so you dont have to fly back and forth

No improvements to the graphics. In fact they're mostly worse because they copy the square tile layouts direct from RSE.
Plot felt pretty dull to me, can't put my finger on exactly why, though. Maybe I'm just burnt out from the same format over and over.
XY anime series ends in September and with what we have seen before it'll be a month or so before the Sun & Moon anime is revealed.
