- Congress
- Congress
- This isn't anything to be proud of.
- Obama, but he's deporting everyone and wasting resources by chasing down old ladies instead of violent criminals.
- Congress
- Literally only one of these is true.
- Again, objective lies.
- Not really an energy sector gain; the pipeline eases traffic congestion in rail yard shipping and the coal fields he's opening up aren't economical to exploit. Regardless, the pipeline wasn't his idea in the slightest.

Also, pulling someone aside to tell them "I need loyalty, I expect loyalty" is very disturbing. Especially when he was quoted as saying that “I faced great pressure because of Russia. That’s taken off.” Saying "I am not under investigation" doesn't make him less suspect, especially when how it's about obstruction of justice, which is what Nixon was taken down for. That said, >>62655 is right, if Trump gets impeached it won't be until midterms or 2020, or whenever Trump ends up dragging down the entire GOP down with him. First of all, I'd like a source to where Trump said he fired Comedy "because of Russia", because there has to be more to that quote.

Second, one doesn't contradict the other. If Trump wanted the Russia investigation closed, he would have just closed it, not fired the guy in the charge of it.
>>
>>62782
The fact that your asking for the video tells me you probably didn't even know it existed before this thread. That's how deep in your bubble you are.

And "closing" the investigation also would have been obstruction, probably in an even more obvious way than he chose to obstruct.

The law isn't autistic. When "I hope" means "Do this," it knows.

How's that Muslim ban going, by the way? I mean, the text never says it's a Muslim ban, yet the courts are blocking it for that very reason. Really makes you think.

Except it didn't. Today's hearing let us know more about the scope of the investigation. We know fully that Trump's ties to Russia are now under active investigation since Comey couldn't comment on that.

Mexico said no, and there's all that's been said about that lately. Give me a non-Breitbart/Fox News/Infowars link saying otherwise and I might believe you.

True. There is zero reason for poor people to vote Republicans, yet they keep doing it. They've proven time and again that they only care for the super rich and ONLY cater to them, yet these poor trailer trash keep voting for them. The amount of brainwashing in order to be able to do that is amazing.

>Mexico said no,
You know more than well Mexico's opinion is irrelevant.

How about NBC? The wall isn't being constructed yet, but it's sure being planned for:

It's simple. You even see it in this thread. Create some other: liberals, Mexicans, Muslims, Communists, etc, vilify them as much as possible, and then tell them that a vote for you is a vote against them.

>You know more than well Mexico's opinion is irrelevant.

How is Mexico's opinion irrelevant when they are the ones who are supposedly going to pay for it?

Right from your link:

>Is Mexico paying for the wall?
During the campaign, Trump promised that Mexico would fund it up front. Now, the president says Mexico will eventually pay for the wall, so any money Congress allocates is just a temporary expenditure.

>But Mexico says nope.

>"Mexico, of course, will not pay," Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto said in January, reiterating what he has said repeatedly for the last two years, including to Trump directly during a campaign trail visit.

>So, who is really going to pay for the wall?
Taxpayers are expected to pick up the initial tab and, barring a reversal from Mexico or a remittance tax, likely in the long run, too.

So american taxpayers will pay for it, if it's ever built in the first place. Thanks for the link, it really informed me on this.
>>
>>62822
Trump is more than capable of strongarming the Mexican president into doing whatever he wants. We'll see what happens over the next 4 years.
>>
>>62821

I guess that one quote from an old president, the one that says something like "give the poorest white someone to look down on, and you can rob him blind." They've been doing this shit for decades. Quite amazing, I gotta say.
>>
>>62823
>We'll see what happens over the next 4 years.

More like year and half, maximum. Mexico's presidential election is next year and I don't think people will vote for someone who is friendly towards Trump. Plus, the american mid-term elections.. it won't be kind to Trump no matter how much conservatives fool themselves into thinking otherwise.
>>
>>62826
I wouldn't be so confident. Midterms are up, but at least in the Senate most of the Republican seats are in strongly Republican states. Still, the special elections show that Democrats have been making strong gains against the Republicans.
>>
>>62828

Fair enough. It's a tough call for Dems to take the Senate for sure, but having a House majority seems very likely.. and losing the House means no more bills for Trump. There goes the wall and some other things he wanted.

He only has a year and a half to do something about the wall.
>>
>>62828
>Still, the special elections show that Democrats have been making strong gains against the Republicans.
You mean those things that democrats keep losing?
>>
>>62836
They didn't lose too many of them. Anyways, it's not who wins that you should look at, those are pretty typical and unsurprising. It's the results, as in the actual percentages.
>>
>>62838
>Muh percentage
Is this the new popular vote? The only percentage that matters is 51. But by all means keep blowing tens of millions on all those losses. Maybe one of them will work out for you instead of blowing up in your face like Comey's testimony.
>>
>>62836

The nominees Trump chose are from deep red states. It's no surprise Dems lost in those places. The only real contest is in Georgia with Ossoff. He has a real chance of winning there, especially after the republican lady said she doesn't support a livable wage.

You're a fool if you think Democrats as a whole aren't motivated enough to go vote in 2018 and 2020. Dems usually dont vote in midterms but you better believe they can't wait to vote now.

Btw, even in these special elections in deep red counties, Dems came extremely close to winning. This shouldn't be the case at all.
>>
>>62853
They're coming >close because they're doubling and tripling republican expenditures. If you want a special election result that actually matters look back at 2009 when the democrats punted their supermajority by losing Ted Kennedy's senate seat. The moment the Georgia election is in doubt the RNC will turn their money pipeline up to full blast like DNC's has been this whole time.
>>
>>62854
And it looks like it's working.

The Georgia special eelection is already the most expensive congressional race in history, apparently. But most of Ossoff's money isnt coming from the DNC, it's coming from small donor individuals. Unlike Handel which is getting money from big RNC donors.
All the congressional races so far for Dems have been from small donors. The DNC hasn't helped whatsoever because they thought they had no chance.

And it bombed out, 0-3 for a grand total of 0-7. Two different district courts and they both told Trump to piss off. Unanimously. To add to the incompetence and idiocy of Trump's attempt at the travel ban (and by publicly calling it a "travel ban" on Twitter, it was used as evidence against him in the courts), he's had way longer than the 90 days he requested and has done jack shit other than waste court time. The courts aren't going to be on his side when he's done little to show that he actually needs it.
>but the Supreme Court
There is no guarantee that they'll hear it. And given his spectacular failure in the courts, it's unlikely they'll suddenly flip. At best you'll see an 1-8.
