It lasted about as long as I thought it would. By the end of summer and into fall you have basically played the whole game.
I stopped logging in around the new year.
I botted and gps spoofed to conquer the whole uni. Took about a week to get bored.

Pokemon Go isn't dead, it's still one of the "competitive" mobile games with the biggest playerbases. Going from like a billion players to "only" millions is not somehow a bad thing, they still have millions now.
It still makes tons of money and has active players all over. Hell, they probably get 1000 microtransactions per each post on /vip/.
