That's the thing. We've been together for almost ten years, of which we've been married for going on four years. When we first hooked up, she was 18 and I was 22. At the time, neither of us wanted kids. But, like any good stance that evolves over time, our time spent together and lifestyle changes have made me rethink what we said all those years ago and now the possibility of having kids is something I often consider.

She's told me she's unsure about having kids because she doesn't think she can handle raising a newborn and having all that responsibility that goes along with it.
