Well for politics at least most of 4chan is Right while most of Reddit is Wrong (left). But really the attention-whoring (getting karma; a point based system) and dumb posts/posters that actually get attention (by getting what is called upvotes) is usually cancerous. And from what I can tell, there's also thing called sponsored/promoted posts, which is basically shilling. Oh and the moderators suck from what I heard. Here's the homepage right now. I'd say at least half of it is non-content.
