I was on 4chan for a small period of time in 2008 and 2010. I only stayed around for real since 2013 when I finished my education.
I just couldn't join earlier during the golden years when I couldn't write English well enough and didn't have internet access for the majority of my time. Too bad all the imageboards around got worse by the day since then.

It must have been in 2005.

At that time 4chan was unstable. The site would go down occasionally and people started making their own boards. I found my way here through other image boards aggregating porn from additional boards.

Started posting on /b/, /v/ and /mu/ in 2007, as well as lurking a few other boards. Gradually started also posting on /ck/ as well as lurking /w/.

Started posting on /a/ in 2012 when I started watching anime. Same year, started posting in /sp/ when I started watching hockey, but only for the hockey season. And also this was the year /vg/ was created so I moved a lot of my vidya discussion.

Started posting on /int/ and /pol/ in recent years just as I've grown more interested in politics and world affairs.

I also post a lot in [s4s] and /qa/. Much of 4chan is still undiscovered terrain for me after all these years.

I don't know, probably really was on here some in the mid aughts, but I was like 10 at the time. I started really coming here in early high school, so ~2012. Used to only use /b/ and go to /v/ sometimes. now it's almost exclusively /mlp/ but I also browse.

um, probably 2014? It was right around when moot left. I came for /d/. I was just getting into my suppressed fetishes and didn't know where else to go. I've flattened out since then and actually go on /e/ way more than /d/.

Id go on /g/ a lot but i grew tired of it quickly and and just went straight to news sites for tech. (Now I go to a different board.) I started going to /v/ for e3 and then I replaced it with /vg/. since them most of the generals I went to have died and I've mostly switched to /v/ even though I don't really play any video games these days besides Kirby.

My home board now is probably /fa/. I started browsing it because someone from /vg/ seemed to fancy it. Yeah, you could say it's shit, but there's really nowhere else to go.

I'm very glad I found 4chan. It's my one stop shop for most of what I open my web browser for. On top of that, 4chab led me to post of the other sites I frequent (other boards, Japanese learning sites, Twitter, Pixiv). I've used so many guides from the boards here, too.

Yep, I remember these days. First started browsing in 2005 on /h/ and /e/ just for porn. Occasionally checked other boards, but not much.

Started getting really active in 2011. Was regularly reading a lot of different boards and started posting more. Installed a bunch of 4chan addons around that time to improve the UI and stuff.

I go through some periods where I'm not as active, but in the end I'm here forever

to clarify, I mean how you can't check on option to switch to burichan/futaba automatically, instead of having to do it the first time you visit a blue/red board, like the inline extension allows you to do with the tomorrow theme.

I found out about 4chan in 2011 through autistically playing extreme Minecraft all day every day as a 12/13 year old. It became my parental figure when I started feeling like I was part of it.

It ruined my life but hey I saw some good memes.
