I mean, it's not surprising. If I want to talk about anything I go to the actual board, since most of the people there will have passes and it doesn't really matter if you do or don't, quality of posters doesn't go up.
Maybe remove some global rules from VIP for shits and giggles. Anything else would require more development than it's worth.
