Won't you think more newfags from other boards will flock into /a/ thinking it's a meme shitposting board?

Why did /v/ who is a a meme shitposting board get a non meme cool banner when /a/ did not?

Did we fuck up? I think so

But there is probably no way back now since Hiro only allowed one banner per board

In the banner thread made after the banner won on /a/, I think it was more than 200 replies, maybe 300 and no one liked it

Was it a mistake to make only pass users vote knowing that a lot of them bought the pass in 2016 after the features were added?

I haven't been to /a/ lately a lot, since the banner was just chosen, but from the little times that I went I can feel something changed in there, maybe? maybe it didn't show yet?
