So I made a thread on /qa/ about a possible stalker mod about

This is a blue board which means that it's for everybody (Safe For Work content only). If you see any adult content, please report it.

So I made a thread on /qa/ about a possible stalker mod about 2 weeks ago and I got mixed responses about whether or not janitors or mods have the ability to mark and stalk people over boards based on their pass or IP. The thing is that I have reasons to believe a mod or janitor has been stalking me over a grudge or something. Has this happened to anyone else? I figured this would be a better place to ask since the harassment has not died down and the poster has become increasingly aggressive.

What did you do?

I decided to namefag after 10 years on a general for a game that came out a couple months back. After a while, some guy started shitposting massively in an off-topic fashion and his posts were never removed. Moreover, I started noticing very specific posts talking to me as if they knew me when going to over boards besides /vg/. Another odd thing is that whenever I anonposted, this person immediately started harassing me as well and even impersonated me a couple times.

Now here is when it gets creepy. I didn't browse for 2 days through the weekend and came back, posting anonymously. Immediately, someone started using my name and shitposting about sucking dicks, being a neet 28 yo virgin and other stuff. I remember making up a story exactly like that on /r9k/ prior to returning to that general so in a nutshell, either it was a tremendous coincidence or he had just been posting with that name those 2 days being ironically retarded while avoiding a ban somehow. But it goes deeper. You know how in generals, they often backlink to the previous thread? I checked and he hadn't done that while I was away for those 2 days. This tells me 2 things:

>this person knows when I post somehow
>this person is banproof

He is now even getting away with spamming copypasta to most of my posts now even though there's an active janitor/mod removing the occasional porn pic meaning there is a degree of moderation. It just seems fishy to me and had never happened in all my years browsing.

Well, I'll let you know that you're talking to a legit schizophrenic so take my advice with a grain of salt. Ban proof is hardly special these days when at least 10% of the people are ban evading. You know I'm not ban evading because I'm using my pass. The fact that their posts aren't deleted may just be luck from their end but I recommend reporting it.

If you're namefagging and not tripping then that makes you easily impersonatable. Either drop the name or get a trip. You can also send a message to Hiro if it's making you want to leave the site. That may not do anything but it's worth a shot.

>>39215
A stalker mod jannie would be nice actually. It could keep notorious shitposters on check.
>>39218
I don't know if that's possible in 4chan but seems plausible. Still, if mods don't take care of massive shitposters and faggots I don't think they'd go for such lengths for you.

Ok, I guess I can try that much.

It hasn't come to that point yet.

Remember that you can only report posts that actually break the rules, if someone is just bullying you as a form of disagreement without being offtopic to the board in question the one who will eventually get banned will be you.

I know. But if it's a thread about a specific video game and someone keeps spamming the same off-topic pasta, that seems off to me.
>>
>>39234
If he's spamming that's breaking the rules. It's not 9th circle of hell kind of sin but if the thread stays up long enough he should get banned.
>>
>>39238
That depends on your definition of pasta, if it literally is pasta then yeah by all means report it but if it's just a general idea that gets repeated constantly as a general response to an specific question then you can't really do anything about it, specially if it is a meme in the subculture of the game itself.
>>39239
Depends on your definition of spam really.

It's this one:

>Hi there!
>You seem to have made a bit of a mistake in your post. Luckily, the users of 4chan.....[omitted]
>Now, there's no need to thank me - I'm just doing my bit to help you get used to the anonymous image-board culture!

Repeatedly to all my posts, sometimes more than once. I've reported all of them and it seems some got taken down so perhaps it's not as I originally had thought and he was just a normal user.
>>
>>39246
Oh man. That's not stalking. People do that copy pasta ALL the time. There's even a video of Tyrone reading that copy pasta in a swanky suit.
>>
>>39247
Yeah but that pasta started today. I know it's just the same user from always though. I can sniff him out.
>>
>>39248
That's being paranoid, man. No wonder the mods aren't banning him.

Yeah well, that's what faggots that get triggered by tripfags post usually. Yeah it's pasta but they are not exactly wrong, you shouldn't be using a tripcode or a name to begin with.
I do it because I'm important and my opinion is superior to that of the lesser Anons but i'm not sure about you.
Anyway, that kind of stuff is better to filter as it is not the product of a single Anon but rather what they think it's the appropriate response to the situation. Not to mention it's usually encouraged by other faggot Anons who get triggered by tripfags.

There is nothing wrong with it. When the site started, nobody minded but most people, even the ones claiming to be oldfags just came here after the chanology incident and other big media exposure. It was the second/third wave of people that adopted the anonymous fursona.
>>
>>39255
>the anonymous fursona.
Holy shit I'm stealing this.
That's good shit.

Well, he knows how you fucking post.
