Which side of a chocolate cornet is the head?
It's not closely analogous enough to any living creature to be said to have a "head".

夢の中だけ。

I remember watching the first episode of lucky star about 10 years ago
Then I questioned my reality and why people could possibly find this show entertaining
>>36906
I watched it mostly because I liked Kanon. And while chocolate cornet and Timotei were memorable, my favorite part was Shiraishi doing whatever.

>I watched it mostly because I liked Kanon
Back then I liked kanon too but I don't see how that translates to lucky star
one is plot-heavy comedy drama, the other is plotless slice of life moeblob garbage
>>36887
i dunno, typically the tail tapers.
so the biggest open end is head
although it kinda resembles an arthropod more than a creature with a traditional "tail" (like a mammal)
what with the crust being analogous to a shell
>>36878
The big side, because it looks like a baby Mothra.
I prefer good ol' American apple pie.
>>36878
Pretty obviously the fat end
>>36911
/a/ back then was all abuzz about it being the next big KyoAni series after the big hit Haruhi and the high-quality remake Kanon. While I did manage to watch Lucky Star all the way through, a few episodes into Clannad I got bored and haven't watched anything of theirs since.
the top is obviously the head.

>a few episodes into Clannad I got bored and haven't watched anything of theirs since.
Same here, although I never really considered Lucky Star to be anything remotely similar to those three.I'm a sucker for romance, and lucky star seems to break that mold entirely
I was completely blown away by this scene. The entire contemporary anime scene deconstructed in five minutes.
Since the only thing that resembles any living thing about them is excretion of brown shit out of one end, the open part is clearly the ass. Which makes the small part the head. But it clearly makes more sense to eat it upside down from the ass toward the head, to avoid squirting shit out elsewhere.
Also I love Lucky Star. Shit's awesome. Easy to marathon without any desire to pause it out of frustration or annoyance, enjoyable characters.

What is that a gif of?

No no. Not as a replacement, as an addition.
That GIF has historical value and dithered aesthetic.
>>36878
A WHOLE FUCKING EPISODE
I don't remember how I made it through the series after that
>>37585
I wanna kiss her 3 mouth.
>>36878
Lucky Star is literally so fucking boring. How is it so popular?
>>38211
It's cute, the voices are great.
Jokes are just enjoyable enough to hit, but not cause any bursts of laughter, so it carries on.
It's peaceful enough to make people jealous of their lives, but portrayed so simply it's easy to get lost in it.
There's no 'event' feeling to watching it. You can play it in front of you without the slightest thought.
It's probably popular due to in jokes and otaku familiarity.
>Lucky Star became an immediate hit in Japan, receiving a broad following in the anime fandom. Explaining this phenomenon, the analyst John Oppliger of AnimeNation, for example, suggested that a major factor in the series' success is its similarity to an earlier work by Kyoto Animation—The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (the show itself makes numerous references to the same series). However, he also admitted that Lucky Star is quite different from its "predecessor" and that the second major factor is its "unique" composition that "panders to the tastes of otaku, but does so with good humor and sly wit", thus, making it "the ultimate in fan service", a "witty, self-indulgent, guilty pleasure".[29]
I still can't believe it's been so long since this show aired the first time.
I miss 2007 /a/
>>36954
this webm looks like the third thing is looking at the reactions rather than the actual hits
>>37700
i prefer good ole' american cheeseburgers and fries.
>>37089
did it ever get good. i only watched a single episode and even that i couldn't finish. i think i got just fifteen minutes in and i was done. i think it was 2010 when i tried to watch it.
>>38264
The first episode is a trap
>>38257
I saw my brother watching it on youtube or some shit at the time in the worst quality possible. Thought he was crazy not for that, but for watching such cutesy shit in the first place. Oh how that turned out.
>>36878
Why does the colors look so saturated?
Not that I find this to be wrong or anything
>>38272
All I remember is how this show caused huge drama on /a/ between moefags and anit-moefags, how there was this obnoxious tripfag who avatarfagged as Konata, and how moot sometime later renamed the board to CODEGEASSCODEGEASS
>>38264
I did the same but then tried watching again one other time because I was wondering why it was so popular and ended up really enjoying it
>>38262
>the third thing
Correct your ignorance, nigger. That's the god damned Mothrapillar.
>>36878
The big part.
>>38385
I'm terrified.
>>38391
But they're so cute!
