When I was younger I modded for a chan upstart called kchan (not the same kchan that you get if you search for it, this one was really small). The way I recall it was the admin made a thread on /v/ or something asking if people wanted to be mods, and I said yeah. It was a fun little group, and eventually the site died because we would all just talk on IRC instead of actually using the boards. Too bad, too, because the general idea of kchan was pretty fun: every day (or week, I can't remember) there would be a new rule for how to post (e.g. only images, no text; stuff like that). It was a good time. Don't really hit up any other chans now. Sometimes 420chan but really rarely.

Anyway if you did actually want to find other chans, it's not very hard to find them and I sort of agree with >>36536, why advertise on places tat you might not want to be known about, such as /b/.

Why would you even compare a fetish/porn-share imageboard to a general site like 4chan? I don't think it's even possible for something like bbwchan to have a community, unless there's some popular general board there I've never heard of.

Endchan was pretty solid when all the Josh drama was going down, it's a shame that Brennan never ported his board over to Lynxchan considering how fast that node.js setup is.

Infinity Next would've worked out probably if the cripple hadn't decided to try and migrate the old databases/posts on top of the new framework. There's only so much you can blame Josh for, trying to preserve posts from the old infinity was fucking stupid, people can remake their stickies easily.

werchan is a cool tech demo but there's not really a community for it. The same goes for stuff like nntpchan where the technical premise is really exciting but the audience isn't ready for it yet.

Oh, and pichan is nice. Fuck lainchan though.
