Berserk is my favorite manga. I really enjoy the characters and the setting.
I dedicate this thread to best apostle.

So much easier to dump a chapter or two with this pass.

Don't know how he got Barbo up there so quick.

A well placed kick, perhaps.

It's sad that we'll never see any of this animated
>>3747
...for reasons that will soon become very obvious.
>>3755
>>3760
I like the new anime better. The artstyle kinda sucks in the manga.
>>3776
The anime would probably just fuck it up, anyway.
>>3795
>>3793
If you say so. My feelings are pretty much the opposite.
>>3809
I just can't stand all that chunky CGI shit they're doing these days.
>>3822
I mean I liked Reboot as much as the next guy, but god damn.
>>3835
Zoids was alright, too. Beast Wars was... a lot of people really liked Beast Wars.

This kind of shit is okay on a blue board as long as it's artsy, right?
Nobody is more artsy than my boy Wyald.

You may be the first person to test out the "nudity if in the source material is allowed" rule that /a/ has.

Here's Guts doing what Guts does best.
A panel of severed body parts while he makes a >:( face.

Wait he was smiling in that one. Shit I'm blind.

Pippin to the rescue!
>>4079
Supposedly Casca was superior to Pippin in single combat. I feel like the story did not do a good job of establishing that.
>>4093

Casca was good at organizing the troops and executing battle plans though. That was established well, I think.

The Golden Age is actually one of my least favorite arcs
>>4623
The Golden Age was great for set up and building up the characters, but I think it's one of the more grounded arcs, and that's not what I like the most about Berserk.
>>4644
I think that's why this part and the Eclipse itself are my favorite parts of the Golden Age. Berserk is the most fun when shit gets crazy.
>>4660
I suppose that's also why I find myself more open to the more "high fantasy" style direction the series has headed in, whereas a lot of people fucking hate it.

JUST GET TO THE RAPE ALREADY
>>4735
That's it from me, for now. If anyone wants to continue this, or wants to dump some other part of Berserk feel free to do so.
If you're interested in checking out this manga, which I highly recommend, you can find it on BakaBT.

Well, Casca gets nearly tentacle raped by Wyald in a few pages, if that helps. Plenty of rape to be found elsewhere in Berserk as well. And child abuse and molestation. And forced impregnation. And human sacrifice and cannibalism and body horror and true evil and magical girls and STDs and love and ghosts and a kinky Catholic schoolgirl that's into bondage
>>4792
Thanks anon.
I forgot how legitimately gruesome Wyaldt looked, Apostles like him are like butter on a hot knife for guts at this point.
>>4882
Yeah, Apostles just haven't been that intimidating ever since Guts got the Berserker's Armor. Hell, even before that, really. The last time they were intimidating was probably Zodd at the Hill of Swords. I don't even count Ganishka. He was big and powerful sure, but he was beaten by Guts riding on Zodd's back. That's not a good moment for Apostles as something to be feared.
At this point, the Neo Hawks and other Apostles are going to need a power up or something if we're ever going to achieve that dread before an apostle battle again.
My guess is that Apostles that serve the Godhand directly will be granted more power by their patron Angel. Or something like that. That or Apostles will just keep jobbing until Guts kills the five Godhand.
>>5052
Apart from a kinda lackluster display by Grunbelt, the Griffith Apostle-squad looks legitimately imposing, I really hope that they actually manage to give Guts or whoever their adversary is going to be a challenge, and not just job.
>>5103
Rakshas got smacked around by Silat, Silat's goon squad, and Rickert.
I can't imagine him giving Guts any more trouble than Zondark did near the beginning of the manga, and that's being generous. Unless Rakky has some sort of true form under all that shadow ooze shit.
Locus and Irvine look cool, but I feel like gimmicks are only going to get them so far against Guts at this point. They need to get beefed up somehow. It doesn't help that Locus and Grunbeld basically admit that Zodd is the strongest and we see how that's turned out lately.
It's too fucking long...
It's intimidating
>>5986
But it's so much fun. Just read a little at a time. The setting and drama are really good if you're into slightly darker material.
The worst thing about it is that the author seemed to lose interest for a while there, but he seems more or less back in the saddle as of late.
