Cozy board idea. I always wanted a blue /b/ but honestly I feel like right now this board is kinda barebones as a concept.
What do you think could be added to /vip/ to make it a bit more important or drive people to want to use it?
Bring back that sound embedding thing we had a few years ago. I know hiroshimoot is trying to reduce costs, but since it would only be /vip/ users viewing the files, it shouldn't affect bandwidth too much
delete this board
Here's a thought: Replace /qa/ with /vip/.
If you're not willing to contribute cash for your stay here then you don't get any input in site meta-discussion.
My two initial ideas:
Use /vip/ as a board that allows direct contact and discussion with janitors and mods. Let them talk among the posters normally and allow them to answer questions and maybe even listen to feedback.
That, or allow normal posters to use italics/bold/colors in their posts, or maybe even allow them to embed music in their threads like we see mods do every once and a while on other boards
Just leave it as is, or maybe direct it to be a version of /b/ without the shitposting normalfags. This board is going to be basically newfag-free, everyone here uses 4chan enough to pay up.
I like it either way.

This, honestly. If the administrator comes here periodically just to say hello and see how people are feeling about the site, it would be great.
It's paid /b/ so it'll be cool
no generals, generals are not cool desu
>>402
good idea
>>402
Rather, keep /vip/ and make /qa/ for passers only.
That way we can have VIP quality feedback.
Needs some moderation, so it doesn't become [s4s].
gradually remove features from non-paying scum and basically turn the place into Something Awful
Blue /b/ is solid. The only things we'd have to do is contact Hiro with certain universally-wanted rules such as >>649.
>>402
This honestly isn't that bad of an idea. Too many people on /qa/ are people from other sites and/or retards who think they know how the site should be run. Contributing to the site should let you have a greater say in its affairs; see the banner contest.
>>402
I don't like this much desu, concentrating decisions to just us isn't going to end well
We could always dickwave our clovers on /qa/, or discuss /qa/ stuff here at times
>>402
I mean, we have a pass so of course we'd say this
However, it's still true
If you're not willing to contribute then why should you get a say in the site? This allows Hiro to hear the users who actually give a fuck and cuts out the underage b&, too.
>>451
This, it can be /b/ without the cancer porn, fur, loli shit
Sound webms.
>>1274
They said expect some rule changes so I'm sure it will happen
Though right now it seems like a good mix of b and old s4s
Some shitposting but still conversation rather than 15 "cowe" threads

This is not a good idea.
1) It would turn /vip/ into /qa/, ruining any chances of a quality board
2) Some poorfags have more interesting things to say than some passfags. You shouldn't pay to have an opinion.

I think worthwhile advice, input and feedback can come from people who can't/outright refuse to support the website. You should never put the ability to voice your thoughts behind a paywall.
I hope the board stays on the slower side. I miss the community of slower boards.
