in a nutshell
>tags instead of folders
>upload your tags and image hashes to database
>other people download images with said hashes and automatically get said tags
this deserves to be shilled
Isn't this your job at google, moot?

I wish the front-end was more usable
fucking thing dumps all errors to ‘errors.log’ in your DB dir, even erros that happen while trying to print said errors (or while trying to import libraries that don't exist)
getting it up and running is living hell unless you patch the code to remove that catch block

No fucking way. I was thinking to myself a week ago when I was attempting to organize a few gigs of saved memes that something exactly like this would be perfect.

Question: reading the documentation, and I understand that sharing is off by default.
What is there to prevent people from mass sharing CP/illegal shit? Who would get v&? How to prevent it from happening if I wanted to use my old server rack to help out?

you don't share pictures, you share hashes and tags
sure I could give you a cp hash, but that hash isn't unique to cp
it's like a function
one input to one output
one output to multiple inputs

I believe I have fundamentally misunderstood how sharing works. I'll just shut up and read past the first page of the documentation before asking questions.

what I explained is how the PTR (public tag repository) works.
You can still share pictures by connecting to a database (such as the database listed in the documentation).
