Why am I having such a hard time liking Persona 4 as much as I liked 3? I don't understand why Atlus took away that creepy atmosphere from P4 and replaced the characters with unlikable ones.
In P4 you get shit waifus, except Yukiko maybe, but the green tomboy, the semen demon and the other cunts are downright terrible 0/10 wouldn't date, maybe Ayane but even she is a 4/10 mainly because of her Slink
The bros in P4 are just bad, Yosuke is shit compared to Junpei, Teddie turns out of nowhere into Ouran HSHC and cuck you on Summer Festival and the fellow athletes are at least a little decent. The only likeable bro is Kanji
The setting's really comfy, which isn't bad, combine that with murder and you get some decent stuff happening, but when you combine it with the majority of the game, which is cheerful, is really not what I wanted from a Persona game.
The only things P4 did better than P3 was letting you control your squad, level design. Some okay things were Yu, which isn't a bad MC, I can't choose which one I like more tbh, and the changing weather, even if it's part of the story

No, but the VITA does have some great games on it. You should look into the PS vita TV, it's alot cheaper and you can play almost all of the library on it. I have the PS Vita and golden is definitely one of the most played games on it, but a system is never worth it for one game.

If you consider that clubbook thing as the original 'lore', then it getting retconned in FES takes away Nyx's malicious nature, the whole evolution-because-of-nyx-moon-rays thing, shadows being parts of nyx, probably some other stuff that I don't remember off-hand. You also get the character changes like Elizabeth becoming anything more than Igor's bored handmaiden.

So you're left over with scenes that don't make sense anymore like that guy turning into goop and nyx being the moon (which did make sense in the original lore, but don't anymore.)
