In all honesty, I'd say look at your own body. Study where your elbows fall against your ribs, and the space between that area and your pelvis. Also take a look at where your hands fall on your thighs when you're upright with your arms down.

So yeah, for what it's worth, learning how to draw your own body helps immensely with proportioning things or at least it did for me. Study yourself!

When you're trying to learn how to draw something you find that something, learn how it works and then apply that knowledge when you create.
But for now you probably focus on construction.

4 hours and some 20+ body construction attempts later, I think I've made SOME progress in terms of making something that resembles a proper human bean.
Admittedly, torso, waist, and hips will still pose a problem for me that wasn't going to be solved in a matter of hours, BUT, I can say that I know more now than I did earlier.
Looking at my own body wasn't going to work because I frankly can't tolerate looking at myself in the mirror in the first place.
Things learned:
- Neck muscles
- Importance of arms properly connecting to the torso
- The 7 head rule
- Different ways to draw feet facing forward
- How to not draw a torso -completely- retarded
- Ratios are: 3.5 from the head to the pelvis, and the other 3.5 from the pelvis/hip to the toes, with various numbers making up the equation for each half

All in all, still a shit at making human beans, but I'll become a little less shit, piece by piece.
In any case, I've got masks to draw.

A while ago, I said I'd be open to fic requests. I got 5, and not particularly sure how to handle them, I've been putting them off.
In addition, I misread the one request I attempted- Beamz vs other OCs for a spot as an official animatronic, which I took as Beamz vs the official ones.
I only noticed after writing it out, of course. That said, I think it turned out okay, so here it is as filler until I do what I was asked to.
