Devfag here, that was originally our plan when we came up with Pro Jobs but instead of bonus XP we wanted to give a guaranteed mod or payday. i.e choose a Pattern or Mask card.

However we figured it'd only force players to grind Pro Jobs such as Ukrainian Job and there won't be much we can do to stop that.

The Uzi is a good counterpart since it can get much better accuracy for the same damage (true 40) and it doesn't look like literal cancer in with an optimized set up but it has a notably slower rate of fire
The Blaster 9mm does not reach the same damage but has a good rate of fire, good total ammo pool (120), and fantastic accuracy and stability at ~35 damage
The Klobb has a whopping 160 base total ammo pool, potential for 40 round magazines with the extended mag, and can get great accuracy and stability with albeit pretty weak damage made worthwhile by a higher rate of fire

All the Hotline Miami SMGs strike a good sense of balance AND viability for all difficulties, except maybe the Cobra for DW. Overkill's been getting pretty good recently at balancing their game

Except it isn't. Dodge build work, but only when they take advantage of every percent of dodge they can get; losing out on that 10% from sneaky bastard is huge, massive. A dodge build without that last 10% dodge completely destroys its survivability; and no amount of quality-of-life skills can make up for that.

Why do you guys think the stealth in this game is so abominably shit?
I adore stealth games, especially hard ones that are actually a challenge, and I don't mind having to restart a few times if I get spotted, but... Fuck me the stealth in this game is just atrocious. Guards that walk through walls, can see a bodybag or a drill from a million miles away but can't see you from six feet away because you're crouching, completely bizarre patrol routes that seem to either be completely random or alter based on where the player is and what they're doing - information the guards really, really shouldn't have access to...
It's like they intentionally set out to make all of the stealth heists completely terrible, unrewarding and generally painful and unpleasant. I never see anyone playing any of the Elephant's heists just because they take fucking forever and they aren't fun at all if you fuck up the stealth, and someone ALWAYS fucks up the stealth.

Shadow Raid is probably the best stealth heist because of the ludicrously high payouts from all the expensive shit you can steal, but even that has a lot of problems.

What gives? Was it just that the game is totally built around angry men in silly masks shooting people with machine guns for mexican drug cartels, so all the stealth shit is just an incredibly lazy afterthought at best?
It just bugs me a bit, that's all.
