It's great for fighting game beginners because it makes so you don't have to worry about combos to start out. You can just mash A for a combo that isn't that great but will do for a beginner while you worry about other things like learning movement and other basic fighting game things.
I started playing fighting games with the first arena game and now I love them.
Not playing a persona game prior to this one might hurt your enjoyment of it though.

All of Episode P4 is cleared, and all the "Clear" marks are red, but I'm only at 94%.
Episode P3 is at 99%, and the only yellow clear mark is Chapter 11, Mission Complete, and there's no dialog choice there.

Then do the same again for the opposite choice. It'll get you 100% for P3.
