Seems to me you and Remiel would get along just fine. Remiel is the only angel (in DeSu and OC) who outright says "I...want to save everyone.". They have a alien appearance because they originated outside of the Abrahamic lore, but were angelized over time.

The problem is that chaos favoritism is so strong that they don't even follow their own logic. Angels have been sold as calm / patient / stoic / a little trouble seeing people as individuals / will do anything to prevent strife / etc since the beginning... but... the main characters don't seem to match the tone that they as a whole are supposed to have.
