Also I've spotted multiple lesion traps without seeing them thrown or using IQ today alone. They don't have the same distortion in their active camo as Yokai does, but you can certainly see them under the right light, especially Kanal day time.

Also hot breaching on hostage with Ying is the most satisfying thing ever. Just being able to swing into the hostage room while your flashes go off and snag the hostage is an amazing feeling

The GPU-heavy shit in the game can get bumped up pretty damn high without eating your framerate much, but in the end it's a very, very CPU intensive game. You have a good CPU? If you don't, you're in for a rough time.

Nah, if you have shadows on medium or higher there are a lot of spots where you can see player-cast shadows, which is why that's the lowest you ever want to put that setting. Along with that with the lights flicker out when Ying and Thatcher's shit goes off, but I think those ones work that way even on low.
Those lights you can shoot to make flicker too, but nothing more. Won't let us go full Sam Fisher, but probably for the better.

They didn't get rid of dynamic lighting, they got rid of some "dynamic lighting system" that partially lit the environment using the skybox (which is why we got new skyboxes when they got rid of it), which also apparently included the hefty adaptive exposure that everyone always complained about.

I really like it. It has a good amount of "secondary rooms" that you can initially defend and fall back from when the pressure gets put on, which essentially makes point defense more viable without forcing you to crowd into a single room.
Plus it's a strong map for roamers, but the chokes to cut them off from each part of the map are well defined and keep them from running too wild or flanking too easily. Good balance imo.
But people are gonna say it's shit because it's new and they don't know it for a few months.

They removed Temporal Filtering which reduced the rendering resolution to half your setting. It was done to separate render scale from AA settings and that they will introduce a render scale slider, separated from AA and canvas resolution settings, which they haven't done yet, so we are left with a blurry game until they decide to add it back.

Steps to reproduce:
1)Hold either Buck rifle in shotgun "Skeleton Key" mode
2)Press Middle Mouse to switch back to Rifle mode.
3)During the animation of Buck moving his hands and changing his grip, press the Right Mouse button to Aim-Down-Sights.
Result:
The optical sight starts off far to the right side of the sreeen, and you have a longer time than normal for the sight to be properly lined up in the center of the screen. This is more noticeable with the ACOG, which causes this animation to start with the scope off the screen. Shooting the Skeleton Key (ADS or hipfire) and then starting to switch back prolongs this time even more, as it also factors in the animation of shooting the shotgun shell.
Mitigation:
Wait a second after switching back to rifle mode, and then try to aim. The delay issue is caused by Buck completing the animation of changing his grip, and only then animating bringing the rifle in front of your face to aim. The ACOG is off of the screen because that's where the gun is during his "change grip" animation, and the screen zooms in more than with the 1x sights.

Prior Op.Health even with everything on low, the game still looked pretty decent, not perfect but everything was defined and I had a clear idea of what I was aiming. Now it's a blur fuckfest, everything looks smeared like an oilpaint, it's absurd on the long range, I lose 10fps if I try to make it look like clear and gritty like it was before.

Lesion's SMG is decent/good, I haven't played him enough to really speak too much about it, but it has manageable recoil and the fire rate is still pretty sweet.

I can't function with Ying's LMG tho, something about it seems just slightly off. Probably just not used to it. The shotguns are all pretty decent (in terms of shotguns), but I only played like 2 rounds with each at most. The chink ones could do with a slightly better RoF maybe, but at the end of the day you're better off with the SMGs.

Not as a sidearm i don't think, but i honestly can't find any instance of them using the thing. It's pretty useless in terms of design for combat purposes.
The only military forces that actually use it (or used it) are the GROM and the portuguese GOE I think, and again, probably not as a sidearm since it's unwieldy, expensive and only holds 7 rounds.
