Honestly no, that should be all you need to do to remove a shape, provided you're doing it for both _0 and _1 nifs.

Short explanation is that ports are tricky to work with for reasons and you may be better off finding something else to use in the long run.

If you really want that particular piece, though, you can rebuild the outfit from the ground up by way of obj I/O in OS, but you will need to weight it yourself or copy from something similar, which can be a learning curve in itself.

I tryed to install something like 15 different quest mods and my game imploded, so what's the deal with them? Do I have to restart a playthrough every 5 quests mod I complete because otherwise I break shit by uninstalling them mid playthrough? Considering that uninstalling mods which modify and/or add cells have an higher chance of corrupting your save and on top of that most of the good quest mods add new equipment you will lose or corrupt your save game further upon uninstallation of said quest

so yeah tl:dr how do you deal with wanting to play multiple different quest mods without breaking your setup

I think he's basing it off the tendency they've had recently to play it "safe" with their game locations ever since Morrowind by presenting as straightforward a fantasy experience as they could based on the climate of what was "popular" in normieland as far as swords and sorcery go. Oblivion had Cyrodiil change into something other than a jungle and it ended up looking more like Lord of the Rings, Skyrim is a very straightforward Viking Fantasy sort of thing that manages to fall short of even being as interesting or "exotic" as traditional barbarian fantasy like Robert E. Howard's Conan, and came out more or less around the same time as Game of Thrones and Vikings while managing to be released slightly before either.

Someone at Bethesda studios is some kind of marketing genius with their ear to the ground when it comes to what's hot in popular media, and for that reason we'll never see anything "weird". Ever. Again.
