Word has reached him that his mother has marched south without order, it is of little consequence, though the rumour that she has resurrected her cult of pleasure is troubling.

On Ulthuan his spies report that Tyrion is engaged with another cult, taking advantage of the conflict could allow the Witch King to establish another foothold on Ulthuan.

Further south where the shifting sands of Araby blow, it has been reported that the servile men of the Asrai have conquered swathes of land, the riches of this land could well aid Malekiths coffers if he chose to wrest it from them. Though another rumour, perhaps untrue, but not worth ignoring is that a hold of the ratmen is situated somewhere in this land.

Finally from out of the land of Lustria little has been heard, the most valuable pieces of information being that a notable lord of the lizardmen is currently fighting human settlers by himself, it could be advantageous to eliminate such an opponent as swiftly as possible. As for the other piece of information, it has been heard that the whoreson Teclis is leading an expedition on the southernmost tip of Lustria, supposing he survives the dangers of the land it would give Malekith great pleasure to have a rematch.

Yeah, I'd say Attila is worth 10 bucks. It's probably the most complex game in the series. Some of that complexity is quite good, like the siege escalation stuff. Others might dislike some of it, like sanitation. But yes, absolutely worth 10 bucks.

First, Attila had no phalanx. Second, comparing spears and pikes is fucking retarded. Third, attack and damage values in Attila were extremely overtuned, doubly so for cav. And last, since pikes specifically turn an enemy unit's charge bonus against them, and taking point three into consideration, obviously a pike unit would decimate a cav unit charging it head on.

The point remains that the HP system is the same they use in Warhammer. The only difference is that Warhammer a) doens't have pikes, and b) doesn't have broken damage.

Skeletons do tend to die in very large numbers so putting them all in one huge stack generally isn't that good an idea

Not him but just tried it out and it seems good. The AI used all it's siege equipment, at the very least, which is something it's had a problem with in other maps. When on the defense, it manned all of the wall. Don't know how well the AI would perform in the streets since it never got there.

It's good. Problem is in GCCM, which is what this mod is going into, maps like this are the exception, not the rule. But if that team can make maps like this, and go back and prune some of the less good maps, I have no doubt that mod will become mandatory for the game. But that's probably years away

Get your starting settlement to like lvl 4 and the oak to 3 or whatever you needed to confederate and then confederate. One thing that also really helps is levelling your LL and doing the quests as they give you permanent ember as well.
Once you confederated all of athel loren you can afford a lot more armies and roll over everything more easily.

They work like hordes, it looked as though they had 8 building slots. They can recruit troops and you can then swap them between lord led armies. They probably don't have any money making capacity unless there's a raiding stance or something that I missed, but they seem to be good for long distance raids by supporting your actual armies.

They're cities with their own building trees and can recruit units/replenish nearby armies when in a particular stance. It's a large investment to acquire one though, so they aren't much of an alternative to taking cities, and I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't able to generate a lot of income so they probably can't support much by themselves.
