I started out with a bunch of Garegga ships, but I'm using Carpet/solo right now admittedly because that's the only setup I've heard of and the bomb is really good. I don't know which characters are good and which aren't yet, I'll probably experiment with the others later. So far I've been having a ton of fun with it, it seems like there's a ton of depth in the game, I've managed to unknowingly trigger both Black Heart and some huge golem boss so far and I assume there's a lot more.
I fucked up on my last run though, an extend finally showed up but it dropped from an enemy about half an inch from the bottom of the screen and I lost it, that was pretty cruel.

carpet solo is a ton of fun desu and will naturally trigger mahou bosses but no gareggas or sobut/envy, crank the fire to 30hz as tick damage milk is a big part of carpets strength.
