Wtf? It's literally nothing to do with being worse or better than your team, it's about the fact you can have a positive win rate and still lose SR because Blizzards system always deducts slightly more SR than it awards.
They've said themselves it's not meant to be a ladder it's meant to put you where the teams are as equal as possible to get as close to a 50-50 chance for both sides to win. Yet if you have a 50% win rate you will lose SR overall. what sense does that make?

You need to be Level 50 minimum with at least 10 hours in QP and 3 hours with 3 different characters in order to play Comp. Everybody starts in Bronze. You get 30 SR on a win and you lose 25 on a loss. I would also add votekicking.

What is your problem with the team composition that is popular? The meta is the most popular heroes. The mere fact that there are certain heroes that work well or are perceived as the best choices does not mean the mata is bad, it just means there is a meta.
Besides pros can only be good at so many heroes, it's far easier for them to find a composition that works and only ever play those roles so they can practice non stop.

Protip-The Pros will pick the objective best teams to win because prize pool. Most of the time, that includes the objective best heroes in as many situations as possible, with slight exceptions such as the occasional teamwork heavy Sombra pick. The meta is formed around this, then people who's job is something other than playing the game professionally will know that the pro's comp is generally the best comp and will want to run it as often as possible.
Now in an ideal world, there will be more than 1 extremely good comp to run (Like when Tritank, Quadtank, DeathB, Dive and Beyblade were all viable). But having a single comp (Dive, or if you can remember back to the shitshow that was 2T2W2L) dominate the meta will objectively destroy the scene. Pro's don't want to play, viewers don't want to watch the same match again and players see the glaring flaws in balance and begin to stop playing.

S76 can heal, but his role is nigh entirely DPS. Sombra is mostly DPS, but she serves a much more healing based role than most of the cast because Hacked kits=the fastest ult in the game. You are that dumb huh? When you have to play with a Symm/Junk/Torb, you have to structure your entire team around their shitty picks. You don't get a reliable DPS, your tank isn't allowed to make aggressive plays and the healers almost always have to try their hardest to keep shitmain alive against compositions that directly counter them
You are much less likely getting the win, but the system itself heavily favours maining heroes, so when said shitmain loses, they lose less than their teammate ,and when they win they unfairly get more SR than their buddies, thus climb more. See pic.

He was never picked in proplay for his 240 burst damage, nor his mobility, nor his ability to barriershred. He was picked for one of the only CC abilities in the game, his trap. Now he can destroy it himself it's pretty fucking shit.
They could have added 2-3 more traps along with his necessary tire buff and he would be dandy, his niche in the meta solidified. But no, we obviously need more midrange DPS, Blizzard is just -3 steps ahead of the game

You literally just lead the shurikens. They're fast enough that all you really have to do is trace the enemy continuously

As for dragonblade its as easy as thinking of it as this:
