Well I climbed out of silver by playing fucking support without a duo, but I can't really understand why can't he learn how to position, ward, control waves, understand why objectives > kills or the fucking fact that helping other lanes is good in some cases if you are the fucking top-lane.

If you can splitpush all game long by all means do it. But if you are losing lane you should probably go help other lanes so you recover.

Also making sure the mental health of the team as whole is kind of important considering how easy silvers tilt.

I'm not saying you'll be able to get 10CS/M because that's impossible in an elo where people don't know how much CS matters and just throw themselves against eachother until someone wins, but you should be able to open a good lead on anyone in silver if you're even remotely good enough for better elos.

This is 100% true. So many games where I'm trying to farm up while my team pings me to go play ARAM in mid. Very hard to farm when if you head to a side lane your retard team will engage anyway and lose 4v5.
