Every weapon looks like it has something that keeps it relevant, except maybe SnS. Even GL looks like it's going to be a real contender in time attacks. SA has massive DPS when you awaken the phials, GL has a giant super combo, GS has even less risk than ever, Hammer's Big Bang does retarded damage, HBG is HBG, CB has returned to 4U form but we've yet to see how its phial damage falls off late game, IG is a meme now but at least will probably do good damage, LS has a built in adept dodge that instantly ups your gauge level, as well as that new helmsplitter. Lance is lance honestly I don't know what to say about it. Bow looks fun and LBG has those cool little mines.

Everything looks great and I think we're going to see the absolute highest variety in weapons in multiplayer than ever before.

Sword gauge doesn't last long enough and/or refills too slowly, you can barely even make use of phial awakening because by the time you're about to trigger it your gauge is at like 10%, and by the time it's full again awakening has worn off again. It refills so slowly and drains so quickly you're basically forced to spend 70% of the fight in axe mode if you don't want to be reloading literally every 10 seconds. The weapon feels like absolute shit to use and I'm deeply saddened by it, I loved the look of the new moveset but they completely blew it with the numbers.
