How am I shifting goalposts? We're talking about being able to clear skeleton tokens being spammed at you. You can't clear them fast enough when they can board flood it faster than you can drop followers, and any follower you evolve to kill, gets squshed.
This is the case for any aggro deck except bone chimera and catacombs can do it so much faster and they don't have to care about your followers since they got so much removal.

I swear this game's matchmaking is rigged on a cycle. 0000 to 0300 is give Shadow favorable matchups. 0300 to 0600 is give Rune favorable matchups. 0600 to 1200 is give Dragon favorable matchups. 1200 to 1200 is give Forest favorable matchups. Repeat as you like.
