Alright if you're leveling then you can leave whip skewer at 1 while you max everything above level 35 (except paradigm detonation which you leave at 1). As for sub 40 skills max corridor, dimensional laser, time space bomb,nyarly, and passives+buff (of course). 10 points in dimension leap +tp for the hold after that tp dimensional laser, time space bomb, positron blast, parasite swarm,leap, and I personally put the last point into corridor.
After leveling however take points from corridor to max whip skewer.
You can take 1 point in paradigm detonation if you want for the BTR hold

Grappler does no damage unless youre fully geared, at which point everyone does a fuckton of damage with similar gearing.
Havent played MStriker myself, but i think grappler is a lot of fun because you combo your grabs together and dont give enemies room to move due to your combos all relying on holds, but you do no damage in endgame and you make partying a terrible experience for other classes along with being ping reliant

Nope. Trash takes 2-3 grabs and bosses take several, been that way since ghent. It's quite annoying considering mnen and mstriker were the ones one-two shotting everything while I was them for a while.

I remember mnen can actually oneshot bosses with his 45, while I have to pretty much exhaust every grab before a boss goes down. Also I was doing 300-500k with skills while mgrap does 70-120k, 200k tops with a crit on a cube skill.
