After much thought, I have concluded that the MBT-70 will come after the M60A2 Starship.

The M60 RISE will obviously be off the M60 line, so they would not put both tanks on that line. The MBT-70 would not come off a light tank line either, so that rules out the M551 Sheridan line. The T95E1 line is a technological dead-end, as nothing used in that tank made it into any other tank.

The American TD line evolves at the very end into a medium tank, and mediums evolved into MBTs. Also, the Starship possesses the same gun as the MBT-70, so the MBT-70 will come after the M60A2.

Most likely, aside from IS series tanks nothing post war had thick side armor so it will do just as well against a T-64 as say a Tiger II H, though if they have more high caliber AA guns you may find some trouble.
