Finished a route of Kangoku Academia. It's pretty conflicting for me. On the one hand, this art and animation especially is godlike. The level detail - to the extent of "ass meat rippling" - is very fap worthy. I think their tachie look kinda, uh, goofy but I have no complaints with the CG art. On the other hand, a good number of scenes cater to fetishes I just don't have so those were pretty boring for me. Gangbangs aren't my preference but they're half the scenes in the game, not to mention stuff like anal tonguing and egg laying. These scenes are good, but I personally didn't find them hot. I think you can imagine why I'm conflicted on this game: Despite my love for the art and appreciation of the scenes in general, very few them are actually "fappable" for me (though those fappable scenes are hot as fuck). I also found the actual brainwashing scenes pretty boring since it's just the girls moaning without any dialogue forever, when it comes to the MC and his pals chatting I just lose interest. Ultimately though I still consider this a solid fappable game that I see myself getting a good amount of use out of.

Okay, with that out of the way, I want to talk about something else: the writing. Namely, the story, and it's genuinely concerning. I'll be frank: Lilith intentionally ripped off the story to Kangoku Senkan 1:1. It's beyond obvious and it perturbed me throughout reading the novel. The game's given its own color - with the Hoth ice planet and whatnot >>187904378 - but the actual story beats and events? All identical to Kangoku Senkan, beat for beat, throughout the entire novel. This wasn't an accident, because the writer for KS worked on this game too. Basically, what I'm getting here is this: It's been over a decade since KS1 came out and they're still using the exact same story. I think that's overkill. I don't mind a lack of innovation, but the copying here is done to an extent that it negatively impacts the experience due to a complete lack of subtlety.

Putting aside the awful story copying, I really appreciate that the way they handled the plot. Them incorporating Bogan into the story was really nice and actually made me feel warm and fuzzy nostalgia for Kangoku Senkan without sucking its dick too much which is exactly what a spinoff like this should aim to do.
I think the male side characters should have had normal sprites. They have these CG used very rarely as "sprites" but given that not only do they show these CGs, but given how important these male side characters are, they really should have given visual representations of them more often. And before you say it's bad to show dudes in a porn game cause of dick on hands or whatever - there's is PLENTY of manbutt in these CGs, so that ship already sailed.
Heart eyes are used somewhat poorly (mainly they're really hard to see in most scenes), but when they work, holy fucking shit these heart eyes are incredible.
The BG artist is fucking amazing. Look at this room. I want to live in this room.
Just to elaborate on the story beats being ripped off, it's as specific as "on the fifth day their sprites change to reflect how horny they are and the girls treat the MC with suspicion but have no evidence, but actually they do have evidence and already called for backup, and if you didn't select "monitor their movements" you'll lose the game due to missing their secret communications, but if you did you destroy their reinforcements and then inform them their original mind exists only on a chip that you can delete at any moment,
then massive gangbang ensues before you delete their original minds. Yeah. The story is identical down to the fucking wire.

One of the biggest disappointments of H-gaming is moving away from that feeling that you're directly interacting. Like how in early illusion games you could click on the girl to interact with parts directly. Hizashi was like that too, and it felt like the touching was actual touching.
