How would /hg/ feel about due to the fact 343 wants Halo 6 to be simplified to take place mostly in one maybe three places?

Not a copy but a few levels with the same mission as Halo CE. Without cortana and her probably taking away several banks of information may mean the need for things like the Cartagrapher or the Index again.

So would you mind if Halo 6 wasnt as jumpy as previous Halos and closer to CE or Halo3. NOTE!!!!

This is an interesting development because as of 4 months ago I could get noble DLC in matchmaking, so this must have bewn a recent move.

Yes and no because despite playing for 10 years everygame is still practice. You always continue to get better. But since Gears is nearly all about movement rather than aim there are lots of different types of tricks to outplay your opponent.

One of the most common moves in Gears is a "Back-A" and essentially all it is is you slide into cover, corners are the best to do it on, and the moment you hit the wall you press back and fire at the same time. It allows you to quickly fire a shot while remaining covered. You can also chain a Back-A with another slide into cover to try to avoid your opponent from bodying you because a lot of times if you miss your Back-A, the opponent will realize you have the cock your Gnasher and during that small time frame will try to body you.

I could goon for some time teaching people how to get better in Gears, it's fun to help out.

Here's a real time example of a half back-a

Not the most impressive thing to watch but it helps you see what happens. A lot of people will ask why you don't take cover on the corner and simply blind fire him instead of doing the back-a and that's because when you are in cover and fire your Gnasher you actually fire it more slowly because your character goes through the full animation of extending from cover and then firing. By doing a back-a your character doesn't need to go through the animation because they aren't firing whilst in cover.

Pretty much a mix of non combat open world and combat. Maybe 1-2 missions that would be open world. I say 2-3x bigger than ODST open world where you have safe locations. However youd have tasks/missions to do in this open world. Which could be done on any order.... BUT

It is these creative abilities displayed by the Community that makes me deeply ponder why the fuck Halo Wars 2 doesn't have a scenario editor yet, as it would extend its lifespan dramatically compared to if it didn't have such.
