I think what i want the most is a mod that makes me self-reliant. It gets annoying running back and forth to towns when i just wish i could naturally discover everything i need on my own like spells etc. I dont like the spell making mod where you have to do research i want the DnD sorcerer method i just naturally learn my powers even if its slow.

yes. the issue with skyrim is that once you complete all quests (which you can do within a couple dozen hours) you'll have to go through all of those quests again, and since the only 'significant' choices are in the main quest if you aren't roleplaying as the dragonborn you're fucked. thats why you install a shit ton of quest mods and hope for the best. also ignore vanilla quests while you're at it

I edited the cloth so that the clean armor version includes the worn and torn cloth. the clean and pristine cloth really bothered me. My paladin has done plenty of battles and theres no way the cloth wouldnt be torn or dirty.

as for the color red, I really tried making a white edit but no matter what I did, the white cloth always looked weird. it always gave off an unnatural glow or shine. i suck at photoshop and it was really annoying to get the white color down so I just settled with red.

I should have considered doing something similar with the cloth. My knight is in a similar position (combat wise) and I mostly avoided the tarnished set because she's not a fan of dark armor. The pristine look of the armor could be bothersome to some but I like to think she's polishing the cuts and marks she's obtained on it, not so much the armor itself.

I'd love that to be true since RTS elements in games like these is my fetish, but from what I can tell, any mod that lets place put down a bunch assets fucks with Skyrim and will give you save bloat until your game stops working. Fortress Defense and RTS in Skyrim both have this problem. Maybe CC could fix it because they have direct access to the core of the game, but I don't know.

I've pondered how things could go and my character has just begun to think about it. With my experience in other media, many empires fade. Some may have a long rule, but they eventually end. Some of these empires are just bad news, but that's beside the point.

On one hand, the Empire could be saved but it could be like beating a dead horse especially after its considerably long run. Even more so if >>187682641 is accurate. On the other hand, if the Stormcloaks succeed, sure it makes things difficult for the Empire, but I'm under the impression that nations could still ally with others. I honestly don't believe that everyone else would bugger off and let the Dominion continue to do its thing just because the Empire is losing support. Hammerfell could start a triggering autonomy in other nations.

Fortunately, my character thinks more in the now, however whom ever she decides to support to be the eventual High King of Skyrim better have enough grit to see their plans through to the end.

I go with whatever bDisableGearedUp can display on the body, so mostly a ranged bow and a one-handed war axe. The real problem is needing to carry a pickaxe and woodcutter's axe for functionality.

The woodcutter's axe thing is fixed for me by using one of those backpacks that displays it, at least. Since it's not meant to be quickly drawn it seems fine attaching it to a pack for travel.

I never really wander with mining picks though. Tend to carry them either specifically when I'm after something (stahlrim) or acquire one on-site as most mines have them lying around.

Are there any mods that make npcs fuck autonomously in skyrim? Plenty for forced action and regular consensual but nothing that adds it to their daily routine as far as I can tell. Thought sexlab aroused would be the one but it seems like yet another framework mod for other mods mostly.

Considering Nord racial abilities and their obvious real world inspiration, battleaxe and shield + sword feels very natural and practical to me while being versatile enough to deal with most problems (plus it feels cool killing a majority of low level enemies with just sword tech and shield bashes then whipping out the big boy for handling real threats).

Though when I joined the Dawnguard I also started carrying a crossbow, even if that's not particularly "viking"... still, it's considerably smaller than a longbow so I didn't feel guilty about including it among the weapons I kept on my person.

I've been roleplaying a Forsworn who mainly uses pure magic. The only weapon she keeps on her is a battleaxe that the Jarl of Whiterun gave her.

XP32 has install options for DSR. Run FNIS after everything is installed, especially other animation mods.

What helped me was playing the game, as silly as that sounds. But I find I have to do a lot less improvising if I just go around the game playing. I was messing around in falkreath, talked to who I thought was the blacksmith, turned out to be her daughter, listened to her story then decided to by a home there. Needed to complete a quest for the Jarl first, which led me to a cave where I found Zora.

All this happened just from about 25 minutes of playing the game, and practically wrote half my story for me. With a lot of quest and NPC mods it makes it much easier too

I had this weird glitch where every time I touched a certain page of sliders in racemenu my game instantly crashed. No delay no freezing just instant CTD

People were telling me to reinstall body mods, to reinstall skeletons, to reinstall racemenu, all this stuff, and they were good guesses
