She was incredibly strong, for her the Eliter was about as heavy and difficult to pump as a Squiffer is for most of us. She didn't flinch from its recoil either. Sheldon even told me later she had dunked a burst bomb through the basketball hoop in his range. On her first try.
I'd never believe someone that good would even bother fighting alone. Shouldn't she have found a squad to preserve her rank? But on the other hand, I've never heard her talk either. Maybe she's mute, that'd explain a lot of stuff about her.

Rapid wasn't even close to meta in Splatoon 1, maybe towards the end (and even then it was outshined by the Cherry H3 & CRB) but that's besides the point. Rapid Pro was of no significance in S+ that I forgot it even existed. Grim was infinitely stronger than both rapids, but CRB still reigned supreme.

close combat gun, its really good for tower controls since you have the poison mist, try jumping on and off from the tower if someone is trying to kill you, works for me most of the time

Splash-o-matic feels like a nerf until the Neo comes out.

It lost Suction Bombs and Suction Bomb Rush which was amazing for every mode in the game. And the Neo had Burst Bombs and Inkzooka. It was pretty much a Tentatek with a low special loss Inkzooka. Great for offensive players who had great aim as it had low spread.

Also yeah Mario + Rabbids has Mario stuff incorporated into it, which ads 10 points the score because remember fire flowers and bullet bills? There's also no doubt that many people want the game to be good after witnessing the creator crying at E3 because he got to make a game with *bloop* *wahoo* man in it.

It doesn't matter that much that Spatoon is a creative masterpiece and there's nothing else that comes close to being like it in any aspect. Not when reviewers have easy talking points to fill out such as the voice chat debacle, content rollout and some of the other hard line design choices that have come to be inherent to the Splatoon franchise that someone can easily take as negative, but is ultimately in service of its overall design.

At the end of the day what the Metacritic is saying is it's better to make yet another decent, safe Mario crossover game than something genuinely unique. I don't tend to put much if any stock into what those people say, at least collectively, which is exactly what Metacritic is.

Both of them are worse than the Tentatek, and favored primarily for their ability to build inkjet faster. Splash builds faster but it has less range and gets stuck with toxic mist.

Someone figured out how the drinks work; apparently it changes the probability of getting the sub corresponding to the drink to a flat 30%. In retrospect that explains why they seem so unreliable- it's only boosted to a 1 in 3 chance and doesn't actually increase the probability if that sub already corresponds to the brand type.
