The warrior leveling process is so damn slow. I made it to 42 finally and i am not sure what to do to farm mount gold. I would level more but my brain just wants me to get a mount. I have tried some popular things like farming turtles, killing shit in swamp of sorrows, the graveyard in SM. Nothing is really helping my income. Also while doing the sm runs i would get aggroed from people i walked by perfectly fine the run before. I would have to constantly shift. The whelp farming sounded alright but the auction house shows its not worth anything (7-8G)

The amount of gold you earn killing monsters increase by a lot the higher level you are. Farming for mount money at 42 will take 4 times as long as farming it a 50. Just keep leveling normally and you get your mount. Don't buy spells you don't use like revenge, sunder, cleave, slam etc

There are noticeably more group quests. Even the non-group quests are often better done in a group. Every newbie alliance has felt the pain of that 1 murloc puling 4 of his friends, or a defias caster taking off 1/3 of your hp in a single fireball.

WoW was always kind of everquest-lite and ally leveling seems a lot more like an old school group oriented leveling experience while horde seems more modern and designed for solo play. Makes me think they designed the horde zones after the alliance ones

Silverpine is trash. Barrens would be top tier, however not only do you have every horde race going there, you have to compete for quest drops with way more people than what was intended. Redridge is the only alliance zone that gets fucked by the horde, wheres you have like three or four hordeside. Duskwood is goat simply for the kill quests and the chain, gives a lot of exp. Hillsbrad fucking sucks for both sides, probably my least favorite zone in the game. Duskwood and wetlands are nice since they're not shared, although contested they're still alliance-centric zones. Once again shimmering flats is goat, only you have to once again compete with a ton of fucking people for some goddamn quest drops.
