Getting whirlwinds on demand every turn with battle rages and whatnot is actually insane, the DK is actually very good even as it is right now.

The only issue are all the other warrior cards and the fact that most other classes are just stupidly OP right now, whereas control Warrior is only "balanced".

Jade druid is just one of those decks that is completely unbeatable with the right draws. It has no bad matchups, it has no counters. They don't even have to be god-draws, just let them survive until turn 6-7 and you almost certainly lost.

As an old druid player, the first couple of days I was actually happy that druid was top of the meta again considering that jade had actually a poor winrate towards end of ungoro. This is too far though. For a class to have 3-4 tier 1 decks at the same time is fucking stupid, this is genuinely worse than shamanstone since shaman could at least draw poorly, and once you stabilised, you could recover.

The meta right now is dominated by stupid high-roll decks and jade druid.

Murloc pally is 100% dependant on drawing that good curve early game so they can buff the board with Megasaur.

Aggro druid is super reliant on turns 1-2. You can easily draw and opening hand of Swipe - Mark of the Wild - Hydra and just lose right there.

Big priest is the most retarded coinflip deck I've ever seen.

The occasional evolve shaman is just pure rng when it comes to evolves, you could evolve your 5/5 into a 1/1 just as easily as you could evolve a 1/1 into a 7/8. It's just stupid.

That's not my point, anon. We've almost always had a shit aggro meta, mid-range at best, but the meta we have right now is filled with high variance decks. Previously the games might have been quick, or unfair, but at least you know what to expect and decks were consistent. With stuff like aggro druid or big priest you might as well flip a coin.

Now come back mechanics are irrelevant (unless you're druid), aggro loses and wins on their mulligan, and control decks rely on a big Barnes on turn 4. Despite releasing interesting cards, it feels like skill matters less than ever.

Here's how I beat him:
Played some early shit and removed his board with weapons, come Frostmourne, I brawled away his board then started setting up big taunt dudes for 2-3 turns.
After that I played Armor Smith and Bloodworm together with buffs so that I had an actual chance of living for a couple turns.

Play Kel thuzad and Public Defender on 10. Then do whatever the fuck you want, the easiest one is to place a Scaled nightmare and wait for the geometric progression to unfold.

You can also set up a big board, or mill him with Oracles or whatever if you don't have Scaled Nightmare

I'm getting high-rolled to fuck by these cunts today

UI is strong, but plague is the most broken card ever printed and the reason jade druid is able to even play all that ramp and 3 10 mana cards in their list. An average 5 mana card gives 10-12 stats and maybe an effect. Plague on average destroys all aggro and nets you 18-30 stats. Only the absolute most controlling control decks does it 'only' give you a 6 or 12 stats.

5/25 worth of stats for 5 mana if aggro has 5 minions on board. So if they go wide to punish ramp, they get destroyed. If they dont go wide, they get to ramp for free or have spot removal for one or two minions. The natural balance for hard ramp is aggro. Not in this game. And all because of that one card.

It's all about swinging the board back in your favor. Edwin and Questing help you build up your board while/after you use your cheap removal, and Gadgetzan is there to help you refuel in the late-game so that you can drop your Arcane Giants. Reviving Sherazin over and over is a win-condition too, but everyone running silences right now is a nightmare. It's a high-roll deck through and through, but definitely way worse riht now than it is before, due to Druid, Warrior and Priest just having even crazier tempo than any Rogue..

midrange wants to close out with a tempo curve around 8-10 turns in. jades only become issue turn 15+. you lost already if you go there. they naturally get to 8/8 jades without a single idol used. you have to kill all those plus the bodies that spawn them even if you kill the idol. all by drawing a weak body you play for 6 mana. you want to perfect curve them and overwhelm the turn they cant remove shit and punish ramp with your handful of threats on curve. a geist in the midrange murloc paladin, for instance, is trash. literally useless and weakens the deck if you draw it.

Tips for new players:
- If possible, buy the welcome bundle pack. It's the only thing worth the $4.99. It comes with 10 Classic packs and a free Legendary. You can only buy it once per account.
- Reroll the 40g/50g daily quests and pray you get the for the 80g ones. Completing some of the 60g quest is fine.
- If you have a friend, complete the quests betwen you nd him. Otherwise, create an alt account for that.

- If you are a tryhard/want to play completitive matches, always look for info about the current meta so you can know what to craft and what you can dissenchant(you will have to get the Karazan adventure for some staples).
- Stay away from ranked till you have a decent deck to play with.
- Never disenchant cards unless you are really sure you wont use it.
- Never preorder in your life. Jewzzard and Ben Brode dont deserve more money than the $4.99 from the bundle.
